La chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Haut à Ronchamp (1950-55) - Le Corbusier (1887-1965)

La chapelle est construite sur la colline de Bourlémont dans la commune de Ronchamp. L’ancienne chapelle avait été détruite pendant les combats de 1944. Dès 1950, l’Eglise envisage de reconstruire une nouvelle chapelle. Le Corbusier en sera l’architecte. La première pierre sera donc posée dès l’année 1954. De la pierre, oui de la pierre !  La maçonnerie de la chapelle est constituée de moellons de pierres récupérées  sur les ruines.
